The College Essay Writing Seminar will run from June 24th - July 3rd from 3:30-5:30 pm. The course, taught by CCSC's Humanities Faculty, will provide rising seniors with an opportunity to come close to completing their college essay in 8 weekdays during summer. Students will critique, edit and revise several drafts of their college essays to produce a near final draft by the end of the course.

To take the course students must submit the attached course application along with a $50 refundable deposit (cash only) to Ms. Hairston by Monday, June 15th. The $50 deposit will be returned to the student upon completing the course with perfect attendance AND having earned no less than a 15 out of 20 on his/her college essay grading rubric.

CCSC Uniform Shop

We now have an online CCSC Uniform Shop.  Ms. Henry is making and selling uniform sweatshirts and custom polo shirts at:

Families can order online, and in a 2-3 day turnaround they'll have a sweatshirt delivered to them at CCSC or to their home address.

Update Student Health Forms

All students entering 7th grade next year must submit an updated health and immunization form no later than Sept. 16, 2015. The sooner, the better – don’t wait until school starts in Sept to make an appointment with your doctor. The form is attached. In addition, other students whose health forms should be updated will receive a letter from the School Nurse (Risa Ferrara). We strongly encourage all students to have an annual check-up and to update their forms every school year.
