Myrlene (Meer-len) or Mrs. V is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than seven years of experience in school settings. She is currently a doctoral social work student at Simmons University. Her doctoral program focuses on three pillars: inclusive and dynamic leadership, teaching, and advanced clinical practice. Before joining CCSC, Myrlene worked as a school adjustment counselor with culturally diverse students in a therapeutic environment to help them build social and emotional skills to overcome challenges. Myrlene speaks French, Haitian Creole, and English. She is married and has two girls. She is anti-racist. Myrlene believes in education; she believes all students can learn.
