Wayne Sutton

Wayne Sutton joined CCSC in 2022. He previously taught in Denver, CO with DPS, DSST, and STRIVE schools, where he taught math, English, and special education. Before transitioning to K–12 education, Wayne worked in higher education student affairs as an academic advisor, financial aid counselor, and student programming advisor.

Originally from Illinois, Wayne is also an active athlete—he has played rugby, competed in triathlons, and enjoys hiking. Outside of athletics, Wayne is a passionate singer, having performed in choirs, theatrical productions, and, more recently, rock bands.
