Board Members

Uche Amaechi - Chair

Uche Amaechi is a Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he teaches about leadership, governance and strategy. Uche also works with schools and small and medium-sized organizations on issues of leadership, governance, and strategy.

Kim Scheltz - Vice Chair

Kim has been a High School Math and French teacher since 2007. She was a teacher at CCSC for two years, which she came to after teaching for eleven years at Boston Collegiate Charter School, where she was also Math Department Head. She started her teaching career in Baltimore City with Teach for America. She is now at Lexington High School. She earned majors in Mathematics and French Language and Literature at Johns Hopkins University, and also earned her Masters in the Art of Teaching from Johns Hopkins.

Cindy Albert Link - Secretary

Cindy is a Vice President for Client Partnerships at The Angeletti Group (TAG), a consulting firm focused on philanthropy and fundraising. She has over three decades of development and marketing experience culminating as SVP, Institutional Advancement, at Berklee College of Music after playing senior roles at Princeton University, the MIT Sloan School of Management and Yale University. Cindy earned an AB from Princeton University and an MPPM from the Yale School of Management.

Alex Saltonstall - Treasurer

Alex is the CEO of Printful, Inc. Prior to joining Printful, Alex worked at Wayfair. Previously he was the Chief Operating Officer at Agile Mind, an education technology company, and spent over a decade working at Cambium Learning Group, Schoolhouse Partners, and The Parthenon Group focused on K-12 education and technology. Alex earned his Bachelor’s from Harvard University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Farhan Altaf

Farhan Altaf is a Risk Analyst at UBS in New York City where he applies stress tests on traded market portfolios to assess potential losses. Farhan is an alum of CCSC; joining the school in its first year and graduating in 2011 as class valedictorian. Farhan went onto Bucknell University as a Posse Scholar and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science.

Courtney Burns
Courtney Burns is the Special Education Coordinator and Department Chair at CCSC. This is her 4th year at CCSC, where she started as the 7th Grade Special Education Teacher. Courtney brings a wide variety of educational experience to CCSC and the Board, having taught special education both locally and internationally. Courtney earned her B.S. in Journalism at Boston University, M.Ed. at Lesley University, in addition to completing post-graduate courses at Boston College. She plans to earn her doctoral degree in the future, focusing on education policy. Prior to becoming a teacher, Courtney worked in sports television for nearly a decade.

Christy Felix
Elon Fyfield
Elon Fyfield is the Dean of Student Success, the Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach and the Head Boys & Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach. This is Elon's 3rd year here at CCSC, where he started as the Restorative Justice Coordinator. Elon was born and raised in Cambridge, where he graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School with honors, all conference and all state accolades in both basketball and volleyball, respectively. Elon was blessed enough to earn an athletic scholarship from IPFW which allowed him to earn his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership for free in 2015. After graduating, Elon worked at the Fletcher Maynard Academy as the Director of Qualls Academy, an all boys enrichment group for boys grades 3-5 for 6 years. In year 4, FMA was named the number 1 school in terms of improvement on the MCAS for Black Students in the Cambridge district. Elon was also the assistant volleyball coach for MIT for 4 seasons, before finally deciding to step down to be the head coach for multiple sports at CCSC. Elon is also professional recording artist "Lizzle4," a Clean, Universal and Timeless artist committed to uplifting his Cambridge community as well as young people all over the world. Myra Forrester

I am a veteran CCSC parent and newly minted board member. I am looking forward to using my voice as a parent representative on the board to make known and heard the perspective of families when it comes to how CCSC is governed.

Jose Juves

Jose is the Vice President, Public Affairs at Wave Life Sciences. He has over 20 years of communications and marketing experience in the public and private sectors, including positions at Biogen, the Massachusetts Port Authority, and as Deputy Press Secretary to former Massachusetts Governors Weld and Cellucci. Jose earned his Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.

Laurie McIntosh
Kathy Ofsthun
Kathy came from a 25-year career in market research and innovation helping companies like Disney, Nike, Hilton, Fidelity and others to know their customers deeply and to collaborate with them in building out their future. With the goal of building a better world through equity in education, Kathy received her M. Ed. from Harvard in Learning Design, Innovation & Technology (May, ’24) and seeks to apply her combined corporate and education experience to help all CCSC students succeed.

Rob Shapiro
Rob is a Managing Director in BRG’s Corporate Finance specializing in working with clients in the healthcare sector on operational and financial initiatives. Prior to joining BRG, Rob was a director in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance/Restructuring practice. Rob earned his Bachelor’s from Colorado College.

Emma Stellman

Emma is proud to be one of CCSC’s co-founders and is thrilled to be an active member of the community again. Emma started her career as a high school physics teacher. After co-founding, launching, and leading curriculum and instruction over CCSC’s first 8 years, she helped launch and support Kepler.org and other programs supporting refugees and other marginalized communities in accessing higher education opportunities. Emma served as the Chief Academic Officer at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School and has had the pleasure of running hunger relief programs at Food For Free. Currently, Emma is working on finishing a PhD in Human Development and Learning.

All members of the public are welcome to sit and listen to the Board of Trustees conduct its business during publicly scheduled meetings. Members of the public who would like to make a public comment during a scheduled meeting must register in advance. Comments are limited to three minutes per speaker, unless the Board of Trustees decides to grant additional time.
