Family Conferences

Overview

One of our goals as a school is to consistently work collaboratively with families to ensure we are providing the best possible academic, social, and emotional support for each of our students. As part of this continued effort, we hold Family Conferences twice a year: once in October and again in February. These are an opportunity for families to meet individually with their student's teachers and discuss successes and areas for growth.

More detailed information about the schedule and how to register for a conference is below.

Sign-up for a Conference

There are two types of family conferences: drop-in and scheduled.

For drop-in conferences, you do not need to sign-up in advance. As long as the teacher is available and not meeting with another family, you can meet with them for 10 minutes during that time.

For scheduled conferences, you need to sign-up in advance in SchoolCloud using this link. Guidance on how to use SchoolCloud is available here. Please reach out to techsupport@ccscambridge.org or your student's advisor if you have any questions or are having any trouble logging-in or using the system.

Note: you will need your student’s date of birth and your login code to schedule a conference in SchoolCloud. Login codes were sent via email. If you do not have the login code, please reach out to techsupport@ccscambridge.org or your student’s advisor.

Interpreters

Amharic, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Spanish interpreters will be available in-person for drop-in and scheduled conferences.

  • For drop-in conferences: please reach out to your student's advisor in advance if you would like an interpreter.
  • For scheduled conferences: there is a place on SchoolCloud to indicate that you would like an interpreter at your conference.

If you need an interpreter who speaks another language, please reach out to Ms. Debraggio.

Childcare

Childcare for children who are no longer in diapers will be provided by National Honor Society (NHS) students.
